Text

For the purposes of this chapter:

(1)"State" includes the states of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; and (2) "United States," when used in a geographical sense, includes the states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
