§ 50-3-303 — Representation of employers and employees during inspection

(a) Subject to regulations issued by the commissioner of labor and workforce development, a representative of the employer and a representative authorized by the employer's employees shall be given an opportunity to accompany the commissioner or the commissioner's authorized representative during the physical inspection of any workplace under § 50-3-301 for the purpose of aiding the inspection. (b) Where there is no authorized employee representative, the commissioner or the commissioner's authorized representative shall consult with a reasonable number of employees concerning matters of health and safety in the workplace.
