Text

As soon as practicable after July 1, 1963, the retirement board shall determine the prior service of each judge who became a member as of July 1, 1963 and shall issue to such member a certificate of his prior service. If the board discovers that the prior service recorded on a certificate is incorrect, it shall issue promptly a corrected certificate which shall supersede all certificates previously issued. Copies of such certificates shall become a part of the permanent records maintained by the board in the office of the division of retirement for the purpose of determining benefits payable to members or their beneficiaries. In establishing such records, the board may require, in its discretion, members, beneficiaries, and other persons to submit affidavits as to any information and data
