§ 39-6-90 — Sale or lease of new equipment by manufacturer; preparation and service by dealer.
South Carolina·Title 39 TRADE AND COMMERCE·Ch. 6 FAIR PRACTICES OF FARM, CONSTRUCTION, INDUSTRIAL, AND OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS, DISTRIBUTORS, WHOLESALERS, AND DEALERS
(A)A manufacturer, distributor, wholesaler, distributor branch or division, factory branch or division, or wholesale branch or division may sell or lease new equipment for use within this State. If the equipment is prepared for delivery or serviced by a dealer, the manufacturer, distributor, wholesaler, distributor branch or division, factory branch or division, or wholesale branch or division reasonably shall compensate the dealer for preparation and delivery of the new equipment and pay to the dealer a reasonable commission on the sale or lease of the new equipment.
