§ 43-33-220 — Nondiscrimination in psychometric testing by State agencies; technical assistance to agencies; special assistance or procedures for handicapped persons.
The provisions of this article shall apply to any State agency which utilizes psychometric tests in its personnel procedures. Any such agency shall administer test materials in such manner, form and procedure as will prevent discrimination to persons with physical handicaps as provided for in this article. In all instances where needed, agencies shall secure appropriate technical assistance to administer their test materials. Technical assistance shall be provided, where possible, by appropriate State agencies, professional organizations who work with the physically handicapped and other interested private or public groups and organizations.
