§ 45-6-5. Names of railroad stations.
No railroad corporation shall affix a name to a new station or change the present
            name of any existing station, until after the new name has been approved by the town
            council of the town in which the station is located. Every railway company violating
            the provisions of this section shall pay a fine of one dollar ($1.00) for each day's
            violation, and all costs for prosecution and conviction.
