§ 45-10-2. Certification of vote to install system — Installation.
Upon the passage of the vote petitioning the state director of revenue for the installation
            of a system of accounting as provided in § 45-10-1, the town or city clerk or any other person so authorized in that vote shall immediately
            forward by registered or certified mail to the director of revenue and to the town
            or city treasurer or any other person having custody of the accounts, a certified
            copy of the vote, and the director of revenue shall cause an accounting system to
            be installed in the town or city.
