§ 45-46-3. Powers of councils.
The city or town council of any city or town is authorized to adopt, pursuant to the
            purposes of this chapter, the provisions of the model erosion and sediment control
            ordinance as provided in § 45-46-5. To assist in the implementation of ordinances and programs adopted pursuant to this
            chapter, a city or town council may adopt an erosion and sediment control plan.

§ 45-46-3. Powers of councils.
