§ 45-33-4. Appropriations, borrowing, and loans by cities and towns.

Any community in this state is authorized to appropriate moneys raised by taxes or other funds, including, but not limited to, funds in the redevelopment revolving fund, and to borrow money as provided in chapters 31 — 33 of this title, and may lend or give the money to any redevelopment agency established by it for the purpose of acquiring property in any project area or for the clearance and preparation of any project area for redevelopment or for financing, or otherwise assisting in the carrying out of any redevelopment plan or to effectuate the purposes and provisions of chapte
