§ 45-32-18. Provisions for control of uses.
No plan shall be approved unless it provides for the retention of controls and the
            establishment of any restrictions or covenants which may run with the real property
            sold, leased, or otherwise disposed of for private or public use for those periods
            of time and under conditions that in the judgment of the legislative body are necessary
            to effectuate the purposes of chapters 31 — 33 of this title.
