§ 45-29-31. Taking of excess land — Disposition on completion of project.

Whenever any property is acquired pursuant to the provisions of §§ 45-29-13 — 45-29-32 for any project or projects, a city may acquire, or take in fee, more land and property than is needed for the actual project or projects; provided, that the additional land and property authorized to be acquired or taken, is no more than is reasonably required for the protection and suitable development of the project or projects. The excess land and property shall be included in the description, plat, and statement referred to in § 45-29-19, and shall be taken with the other land included in the descr
