§ 45-24-70. Appeals — Priority in judicial proceedings.
Upon the entry of any case or proceeding brought under the provisions of this chapter,
            including pending appeals and appeals subsequently taken to the court, the court shall,
            at the request of either party, advance the case, so that the matter is afforded precedence
            on the calendar and shall be heard and determined with as little delay as possible.
