§ 45-22.1-2. Creation, appointment, and operation of joint municipal planning commission.

The governing bodies of two (2) or more municipalities may, by ordinance or resolution, authorize the establishment and participation or membership in, and support of, a joint municipal planning commission. The number and qualifications of the members of the planning commission and their terms and method of appointment or removal shall be determined and agreed upon by the governing bodies.
