§ 45-2-17. Regulation of liquefied natural gas facilities.

(a) For purposes of this section, the definition of "liquefied natural gasâ€� as stated in §â€‚39-1-2 applies.

(b) Purpose. The General Assembly hereby recognizes the importance of establishing procedures and standards for the supervision and regulation by the state and by the cities and towns of the use, storage, transportation, location, construction, and maintenance of liquefied natural gas and liquefied natural gas storage facilities.
