§ 45-16-11. Disqualification of sergeant or town constable from serving process.
Whenever complaints, in writing, are made to the department of business regulation that any town sergeant, or town constable who has been certified in accordance with § 9-5-10.1, has been guilty of malfeasance, misfeasance, nonfeasance, or misconduct in serving or attempting to serve or pretending to serve any writ or process returnable to the court, or has made a false return upon any writ or process, or has charged or exacted, for the service of any writ or process, fees greater than those allowed by law, or has been guilty of any malfeasance or misconduct in his or h
