§ 45-13-1.2. Aid withheld for failure to comply with state statutes.
If any city or town fails to furnish information as defined in chapter 21 of title 39 within seventy-five (75) days of June 22, 1987, then there shall be withheld from
            any state aid, determined to be due under the provisions of this chapter, an amount
            equal to twenty-five percent (25%) until the time that the information is furnished.
