§ 45-12-22.6. Cooperation of school committees.

School committees, boards, or regional school districts that are independent governmental entities within a municipality shall cooperate in providing to the chief financial officer all information needed to formulate the reports and the deficit elimination plan required under this chapter. The auditor general or the state director of revenue may petition the superior court to order the school committee or board to cooperate with the municipality and provide all information requested by the chief financial officer needed to formulate a plan hereunder.
