§ 45-12-17. Debt previously approved.
Whenever the provisions of § 45-12-16 operate to repeal a limitation on the interest rate which may be paid on any issue
            of bonds or other evidences of indebtedness approved by the qualified voters of any
            city, town, or other political subdivision, no further approval of the issue of bonds
            or other evidences of indebtedness by the qualified voters shall be required, notwithstanding
            any provision of general or special law or charter.
