§ 28-7-17. Eligibility to participate in elections — Place and supervision of elections.

The board shall have the power to determine who may participate in the election and to establish the rules governing the election; provided, that no election shall be directed by the board solely because of the request of an employer or of employees prompted to do so by their employer, nor shall any individuals employed only for the duration of a strike or lockout be eligible to vote in the election; and provided, further, that no election shall be conducted under the employer's supervision, or, except as may be required by the board, on the employer's property,
