§ 28-45-16. Reciprocity.

(a) When a sponsor of a registered apprenticeship program in a neighboring state requests reciprocal recognition from the department of labor and training to train apprentices for work projects in this state, the sponsor shall be granted recognition, providing the sponsor conforms with the regulations and standards of the state of Rhode Island for the occupation.

(c) The department of labor and training shall have the authority to expand or limit the number of states
