§ 28-44-56. Waiver of rights void — Agreements to pay employer's contributions.

No agreement by any individual to waive his or her right to benefits or any other right under chapters 42 — 44 of this title shall be valid. No agreement by any individual in the employ of any person or concern to pay all or any portion of the contributions required under those chapters from employers shall be valid. No employer shall make or require or accept any deduction from wages to finance the contributions required of him or her, or require or accept any waiver by any individual of any right under these chapters.
