§ 28-42-46. Maintenance of employment offices.

It shall be the duty of the director to administer a system of public employment offices for the purpose of assisting employers to secure employees and workers to secure employment. The director is given full power to do and perform all things necessary to secure to this state the benefits provided by the Wagner-Peyser Act, 29 U.S.C. § 49 et seq. All duties in connection with the federal act in relation to reemployment, including the establishment and maintenance of a system of employment offices, shall be vested in the director, and the director shall establish and maintain any employment offices in an
