§ 28-35-40. Delivery of weekly compensation.

Whenever the employee is entitled to weekly compensation under chapters 29 — 38 of this title, the employer, and/or insurance carrier, until further order of the workers' compensation court, shall cause to be paid by electronic fund transfer; or issued as an electronic access device; or mailed first-class mail to the employee, addressed to his or her last known residence; each week the amount of compensation payable to the employee as it may be due.
