§ 28-27-4.3. "Sheet metal worker apprentice,â€� "sprinkler fitter apprentice,â€� "pipefitter apprentice,â€�
               and "refrigeration/air conditioning apprenticeâ€� defined — Duration of apprentice programs.
(a) "Sheet metal worker apprenticeâ€� means any person at least eighteen (18) years of age
            who is learning or working at the businesses of sheet metal work under the direct
            supervision of a sheet metal contractor or journeyperson sheet metal worker as a registered
            apprentice in an appropriate apprenticeship program registered in accordance with
            chapter 45 of this title.

(a) "Sheet metal worker apprenticeâ€� means any person at least eighteen (18) years of age who is learning or working at the businesses of sheet metal work under the direct supervision of a sheet metal contractor or journeyperson sheet metal worker as a registered apprentice in an appropriate apprenticeship program registered in accordance with chapter 45 of this title.

(b) "Sprinkler fitter apprenticeâ€� means any person at least eighteen (18) years of age who is learning or working at the business of fire protection sprinkler systems under the direct supervision of a master or journeyperson sprinkler fitter as a registered apprentice in an appropriate apprenticeship program registered in accordance with chapter 45 of this title.

(c) "Pipefitter apprenticeâ€� means any person at least eighteen (18) years of age who is learning or working at the business of pipefitting as a registered apprentice in an appropriate apprenticeship program registered in accordance with chapter 45 of this title.

(e) "Refrigeration/air conditioning apprenticeâ€� means any person at least eighteen (18) years of age who is learning and working at the business of refrigeration/air conditioning under the direct supervision of a refrigeration/air conditioning master or journeyperson as a registered apprentice in an appropriate apprenticeship program registered in accordance with chapter 45 of this title.
