§ 28-21-7. Falsification of information.

If any employer or any of its officers or employees fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter by knowingly and intentionally misrepresenting, falsifying, concealing, destroying, or failing to retain the information necessary to comply with the provisions of this chapter, they shall be personally liable to any employee injured as a result of the noncompliance, whether or not the employer is a corporation to the extent that the liability may be imposed under the laws of the state of Rhode Island.
