§ 27-54-3. Investigations.

(a) Pursuant to chapter 13.1 of this title, the director, or the director's designee, may conduct investigations as he or she deems necessary in order to ascertain whether any person has violated or is violating any provision of this chapter.

(b) Whenever the director, or the director's designee, has reason to believe that a provision of this chapter has been violated, he or she may report the violation of law to the attorney general who may bring an action in the court of appropriate jurisdiction.
