§ 27-1-2. Special stockholders' meetings — Notice — Quorum.

The board of directors or the president and secretary of any insurance company may call special meetings of the stockholders of the company whenever they may deem it expedient so to do, first giving thirty (30) days' notice of the time, place, and purpose of the meeting in a newspaper published in the county where the company is established, or, if there is no newspaper published in the county, then in a newspaper published in an adjoining county.
