§ 27-2-9. Statement as to capital, assets, and investments.

Every life insurance company, health insurance company, livestock, or other insurance company, cooperative, or assessment, shall before making any contract of insurance, deposit with the insurance commissioner a statement signed and sworn to by the president and secretary of the company, specifying the amount of its capital and all of its assets and the manner of its investment, designating the amount invested in mortgages, public securities, and in stock of incorporated companies, stating what companies, and also the amount invested in other securities, particularizing each item of investm
