§ 27-18-26. Physical examinations by insurance company.

Any applicant for accident and/or sickness insurance with any company organized or doing business within this state shall be provided, upon request, any and all medical reports by a physician or other medical personnel that were performed at the request or direction of the company. The reports shall only be provided to a physician of the applicant's choice whether the applicant receives a rating or rejection from a company, and the provisions of this section shall also apply to medical examinations performed pursuant to applications for an increase in insurance coverage.
