§ 27-1-21. Failure to deliver property or records to receiver.

If the president, secretary, treasurer, agent, or servant of any insurance company that is enjoined as provided in this chapter, or any other person upon being required, neglects or refuses to deliver to the receiver or receivers of the corporation, who may be appointed by virtue of this chapter, evidences of debt, goods, effects, books, papers, and other evidences of property of every description belonging to the corporation as may be in his or her possession or under his or her control, he or she shall be fined not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or be imprisoned not exceeding
