If any individual shall absent himself from the jurisdiction of this Commonwealth or conceal himself for the purpose of avoiding service of a subpoena issued by the commission, or its representative; or shall remove relevant data, books, records, papers, or other documents out of this Commonwealth for the purpose of preventing their examination by the commission; or shall destroy or conceal any such data, books, records, papers or other documents for such purpose, he shall be adjudged guilty of contempt; and any court of common pleas may impose a fine of not less than $100 for each day during the continuance of such refusal, neglect, concealment, or removal; and if such court shall find that the neglect, refusal, or concealment, or the removal or destruction of data, books, records, papers
