Text
(a)Authorization.--After the deploying parent receives notice of deployment and until the deployment terminates, a court may issue an order granting temporary custodial responsibility unless prohibited by 50 U.S.C. §§ 3931 (relating to protection of servicemembers against default judgments) and 3932 (relating to stay of proceedings when servicemember has notice). A court may not issue an order granting permanent custodial responsibility without the consent of the deploying parent.
(b)Custodial responsibility.--After the deploying parent receives notice of deployment, either parent may file a motion regarding custodial responsibility during deployment.
