fertilizer - General agriculture commodities lien. Any person selling, furnishing, applying or providing to the owner of crops which are growing or to be grown any seed, chemical, pesticide, herbicide or fertilizer for the growing of said crop shall have a general lien upon all agricultural commodities except livestock in his possession belonging to the owner of the crops, for the balance due to him in the course of business. The lien provided for in this section shall be subject to all prior perfected liens.
