failure to comply. Any person operating a threshing or combining machine, shall furnish the owner of the crop a statement showing the number of bushels of each kind of grain or seed and/or the number of acres threshed or combined, price per bushel and/or the price per acre and credits due; provided, that any person operating a threshing or combining machine who fails or refuses to comply with the provisions of this section, shall forfeit his right to the lien herein provided for.
