Enforcement of lien by attachment - Persons against whom valid. Any person, firm or corporation, threshing or combining grain or seed for another shall have a lien for the value of such service upon such grain or seed so threshed or combined. Further, any person, firm or corporation, holding a lien or mortgage on any unthreshed or un-combined grain or seed, shall be held equally responsible with the owner for the threshing or combining bill. Provided, however, that the lien or mortgage holder shall be held responsible for the threshing or combining bill only for such grain or seed as they take or receive possession of. Such lien may be enforced by action and attachment as provided by law for the enforcement of a landlord's lien. Such lien shall be a valid and binding lien on such grain and
