Text

The Ohio expositions commission may, with the consent and approval of the department of administrative services and the controlling board, acquire by purchase or by appropriation proceedings in the name of and on behalf of the state such real estate as it deems necessary for the purpose of enlarging the present fair site and increasing the facilities of the lands under the management or maintenance of the commission. The authority to appropriate property shall be exercised in the manner provided in sections163.01to163.22of the Revised Code. Any instrument by which real property is acquired pursuant to this section shall identify the agency of the state that has the use and benefit of the real property as specified in section5301.012of the Revised Code.
