Text
Except for prisoners participating in a county jail industry program established under section5147.30of the Revised Code, prisoners sentenced to hard labor under section5147.18of the Revised Code shall be under the control of the board of county commissioners, which may enact rules for the successful working of those prisoners according to sections5147.01to5147.20of the Revised Code. Sections5147.01to5147.20of the Revised Code do not authorize taking a prisoner convicted in a city from the control of the proper officer of the city and transferring him into the control of the board.
