Text
In addition to practicing substance use disorder counseling, an individual holding a valid independent chemical dependency counselor-clinical supervisor license may do all of the following:
(A)Diagnose and treat substance use disorder conditions;
(B)Perform treatment planning, assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, case management, and education services as they relate to abuse of and dependency on alcohol and other drugs;
(C)Provide clinical supervision of substance use disorder counseling;
(D)Refer individuals with non-substance use disorder conditions to appropriate sources of help.
