(A)Every two years, licensed embalmers and funeral directors shall attend not less than twelve hours of educational programs as a condition for renewal of their licenses. The board of embalmers and funeral directors shall adopt rules governing the administration and enforcement of the continuing education requirements of this section. The board may contract with a professional organization or association or other third party to assist it in performing functions necessary to administer and enforce the continuing education requirements of this section. A professional organization or association or other third party with whom the board so contracts may charge a reasonable fee for performing these functions to licensees or to the persons who provide continuing education programs.
