Text

(A)Notwithstanding the permissive nature of hearing referee or examiner appointments under section119.09of the Revised Code, the state dental board shall appoint, by a concurrence of a majority of its members, three referees or examiners to conduct the hearings the board is required to hold pursuant to sections119.01to119.13of the Revised Code. Referees or examiners appointed under this section shall be attorneys who have been admitted to the practice of law in this state. In making the appointments, the board shall not appoint an attorney who is a board employee or represents the board in any other manner.
(B)(1) Referees or examiners appointed under this section shall serve not more than the following number of consecutive one-year terms:
(a)In the case of the first initial appointee
