Text
(A)Except as provided in division (B) of this section, an individual seeking a renewal of a license to practice a branch of cosmetology, advanced license, instructor license, or boutique services registration shall attest in the renewal application to the completion of any applicable continuing education requirements established by rules adopted under section4713.09of the Revised Code.
(B)The state cosmetology and barber board may waive, or extend the period for completing, any continuing education requirement if a licensee or registrant applies to the board and provides proof satisfactory to the board of being unable to complete the requirement within the time allowed because of any of the following:
(1)An emergency;
(2)An unusual or prolonged illness;
(3)Active duty service in a
