As used in this chapter:

(A)"Apprentice instructor" means an individual holding a practicing license issued by the state cosmetology and barber board who is engaged in learning or acquiring knowledge of the occupation of an instructor of a branch of cosmetology at a school.
(B)"Barber," "barber instructor," "barber shop," and "practice of barbering" have the same meanings as in section4709.01of the Revised Code.
(C)"Beauty salon" means a salon in which an individual is authorized to engage in all branches of cosmetology.
(D)"Biennial licensing period" means the two-year period beginning on the first day of February of an odd-numbered year and ending on the last day of January of the next odd-numbered year.
