Text

(A)A school may do any of the following:
(1)In accordance with rules adopted under section4713.08of the Revised Code, a school may offer clock hours, credit hours, or competency-based credits for the purpose of satisfying minimum hours of training and instruction;
(2)Subject to division (B) of this section, employ an individual who does not hold a current, valid instructor or barber instructor license to teach subjects related to a branch of cosmetology or barbering;
(3)If the school offers instruction in the theory and practice of one or more branches of cosmetology, both of the following:
(a)Allow an apprentice cosmetology instructor the regular quota of students prescribed by the state cosmetology and barber board if a cosmetology instructor is present;
(b)Compensate an appre
