Text

(A)Except as provided in division (B) of this section, the state cosmetology and barber board shall issue an advanced license to an applicant who satisfies all of the following applicable conditions:
(1)Is at least sixteen years of age;
(2)Has the equivalent of an Ohio public school tenth grade education;
(3)Pays to the board the applicable application fee;
(4)Notwithstanding section4798.05of the Revised Code, submits to having a photograph taken by the board;
(5)Passes the appropriate advanced license examination;
(6)In the case of an applicant for an initial advanced license to practice cosmetology, does either of the following:
(a)Submits proof, as determined by the board, that the applicant has practiced as a cosmetologist for at least one thousand eight hundred hours in
