Text

(A)The state cosmetology and barber board shall issue a temporary pre-examination work permit to an individual who applies under section4713.20of the Revised Code for admission to an examination conducted under section4713.24of the Revised Code, if the individual satisfies all of the following conditions:
(1)Is seeking a practicing license or an instructor license;
(2)Has not previously failed an examination conducted under section4713.24of the Revised Code to determine the applicant's fitness to practice or instruct the branch of cosmetology for which the individual seeks a license;
(3)Pays to the board the applicable fee;
(4)Satisfies all other conditions established by rules adopted under section4713.08of the Revised Code.
