Text

No holder of a promoter's license under section3773.36of the Revised Code shall fail to insure each contestant in a public boxing match or exhibition the promoter conducts for hospital, nursing, and medication expenses and for physicians' and surgeons' services. The amount of such insurance shall not be less than five thousand dollars and shall be paid to or for the use of a contestant for any injuries sustained in a contest. No licensee shall fail to provide life insurance to each contestant. The amount of life insurance shall be not less than ten thousand dollars and shall be paid to the contestant's estate if the contestant dies as the result of participation in the match or exhibition.
