Text
(A)Upon the proper filing of an application to conduct any public or private competition that involves boxing, mixed martial arts, kick boxing, tough man contests, tough guy contests, or any other form of boxing or martial arts, accompanied by the surety bond and the application fee, or upon the proper filing of an application to conduct any public or private competition that involves wrestling accompanied by the application fee, the Ohio athletic commission shall issue a promoter's license to the applicant if it finds that the applicant is not in default on any payment, obligation, or debt payable to the state under sections3773.31to3773.57of the Revised Code, is financially responsible, and is knowledgeable in the proper conduct of such matches or exhibitions.
