Text
The environmental protection agency shall not require a board of health to enter into a memorandum of understanding or any other agreement with the agency regarding the issuance of national pollutant discharge elimination system permits for off-lot household sewage treatment systems. Rather, a representative of a board of health may meet with a person who intends to install such a system to determine the feasibility of the system and refer the person to the agency to secure a national pollutant discharge elimination system permit for the system if needed. The environmental protection agency shall make revisions to any applicable general national pollutant discharge elimination system permits, issued pursuant to the federal Water Pollution Control Act as defined in section6111.0
