Text

(A)The government of the Ohio state university shall be vested in a board of fourteen trustees in 2005, and seventeen trustees beginning in 2006, who shall be appointed by the governor, with the advice and consent of the senate. Two of the seventeen trustees shall be students at the Ohio state university, and their selection and terms shall be in accordance with division (B) of this section.
(1)For trustees appointed prior to July 1, 2025, except as provided in division (C) of this section and except for the terms of student members, terms of office shall be for nine years, commencing on the fourteenth day of May and ending on the thirteenth day of May.
(2)For trustees appointed on or after July 1, 2025, except for the terms of student members, terms of office shall be for six years,
