Not later than December 31, 2024, the department of education and workforce shall issue a report regarding the effectiveness of the state report cards issued under section3302.03of the Revised Code. In preparing the report, the department shall study the data included in the state report cards issued for the 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 school years. Based on that study, the department shall include in the report any recommendations for changes or improvements to the state report card.
The department shall submit the report to the speaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate, and the chairpersons of the standing committees of the house of representatives and the senate that consider education legislation.
